I had the pleasure of running a photobooth at the wedding reception of my friends Beverly and Dennis this past weekend. Previously I had done their engagement photos at Treaty Oak Park and I loved how those turned out. When they asked me to do the photobooth, I was totally down!
Beverly had pink/peach/coral colors for her wedding so I went with a light pink backdrop. Here are the first guests to officially test out the backdrop.
I was pleasantly surprised that guests started coming by for photos almost immediately after I started up the booth. All the guests had great energy and it never felt like I was working, just having fun with everyone else. Thanks to Jon, I was even able to get a picture with the bride!
Here are some highlights from the booth:
I always love watching how couples interact when in the booth. They can be so goofy, haha. And with older couples, there’s just a timeless air about them. Like they’ve been with their partner for so many years so there’s a sense of utter trust and comfort with each other that they exude.
And of course a large group pic.
Once again, I had a fabulous time! Congratulations again to Dennis & Beverly, aka Mr. and Mrs. Castro =D To view all the photos from the booth, visit the online gallery here.
